   Coreterno knows how to compose, and Mystic Sugar (2021) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Almond Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tonka Bean with Cacao, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first Coreterno experience was this one, Mystic Sugar (2021). The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Mystic Sugar (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Pineapple and Almond Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Tonka Bean and Cacao feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Give it a little time and Tonka Bean with Cacao comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
