   Coty knows how to compose, and Vanilla Fields (1993) is proof. The first minutes are all about Coconut with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Coty experience was this one, Vanilla Fields (1993). The first minutes are all about Coconut with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Geranium feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
