   For a 2024 release, Centaurus deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Cinnamon with a hint of Tobacco — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing Centaurus on and off for a few weeks now (2024). Right away I get mostly Cinnamon alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Centaurus, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Bourbon Vanilla and Benzoin come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Centaurus (2024) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Cinnamon with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Right away I get mostly Cinnamon alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
