   I picked up Intimately Beckham Men (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Intimately Beckham Men more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Intimately Beckham Men more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Violet feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Sandalwood and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Violet feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The opening is built around Cardamom and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
