   I’ve been wearing Adventure on and off for a few weeks now (2008). The base rests on Vetiver and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pimento with Sesame, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

As it settles, Vetiver and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Adventure. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Vetiver and Cedar come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Davidoff experience was this one, Adventure (2008). The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.
