   Everyone keeps talking about Good Life, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Clover and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Clover plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Good Life (1998) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Clover and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Fig Leaf and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Good Life (1998) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Tea and Magnolia feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Fig Leaf and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Good Life sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tea with Magnolia, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Clover and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The base rests on Clover and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I would happily buy a full bottle.
