   I keep reaching for Balade Sauvage more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Fig Tree with Fig, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Fig Tree and Fig feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Balade Sauvage on and off for a few weeks now (2018). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Fig Tree with Fig, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Ozonic notes — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of Balade Sauvage after reading the community buzz (2018). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Fig Tree with Fig, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Ozonic notes, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I keep reaching for Balade Sauvage more than I expected to. As it settles, Pebbles and Amberwood come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Fig Tree with Fig, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Balade Sauvage. Give it a little time and Fig Tree with Fig comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Ozonic notes peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
