   A decant of Cuir Cannage sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Leather and Iris feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Ylang-Ylang with a hint of Orange Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Cuir Cannage more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Leather and Iris feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Ylang-Ylang alongside Orange Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Cuir Cannage on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The base rests on Leather and Birch — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Ylang-Ylang and Orange Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Cuir Cannage (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Leather and Birch — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Leather with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Dior knows how to compose, and Cuir Cannage (2014) is proof. Give it a little time and Leather with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Leather with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Cuir Cannage (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Leather plus Birch and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Ylang-Ylang with Orange Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
