   I’ve been wearing Dior Addict on and off for a few weeks now (2002). The opening is built around Blackberry and Mandarin Leaf — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Dior Addict, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Blackberry with Mandarin Leaf peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Blackberry and Mandarin Leaf — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The base rests on Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
