   A decant of Dior Addict Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Night blooming Cereus with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Night blooming Cereus and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Dior Addict Eau de Parfum (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Silkwood Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Dior Addict Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. As it settles, Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Silkwood Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The base rests on Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Dior Addict Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Silkwood Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Dior Addict Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Night blooming Cereus and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Night blooming Cereus with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Dior Addict Eau de Parfum (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Silkwood Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Night blooming Cereus with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
