For a 2004 release, Eau Noire deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Coffee feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Lavender with Coffee comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I keep reaching for Eau Noire more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Thyme with Sage peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Licorice plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I keep reaching for Eau Noire more than I expected to. The base rests on Licorice and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Coffee feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

I’ve been wearing Eau Noire on and off for a few weeks now (2004). The drydown leans on Licorice plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Lavender with Coffee comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

For a 2004 release, Eau Noire deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Thyme with a hint of Sage β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Thyme alongside Sage, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Everyone keeps talking about Eau Noire, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Thyme alongside Sage, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Thyme with a hint of Sage β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I picked up Eau Noire (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Thyme with a hint of Sage β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Lavender with Coffee comes forward β€” smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I picked up Eau Noire (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Coffee, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Thyme alongside Sage, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

I have owned Eau Noire for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Coffee feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Licorice plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

My first Dior experience was this one, Eau Noire (2004). The drydown leans on Licorice plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Thyme and Sage β€” bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Everyone keeps talking about Eau Noire, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Thyme and Sage β€” bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Thyme/Sage impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Picked up a sample of Eau Noire after reading the community buzz (2004). The very first sniff is crisp Thyme with Sage peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Licorice and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Everyone keeps talking about Eau Noire, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Licorice and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Thyme/Sage impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The drydown leans on Licorice plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
