   For a 2021 release, Eden-Roc deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Pine Tree and Labdanum come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Pine Tree plus Labdanum and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Dior experience was this one, Eden-Roc (2021). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Coconut, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Sea Salt alongside Mineral notes, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Everyone keeps talking about Eden-Roc, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Sea Salt alongside Mineral notes, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Pine Tree and Labdanum come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Eden-Roc. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Coconut comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Pine Tree and Labdanum come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
