   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Fahrenheit Cologne. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into French violet with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: French violet and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Give it a little time and French violet with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up Fahrenheit Cologne (2015) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Haitian Vetiver and Nutmeg — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and French violet with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
