   A decant of Fahrenheit Le Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Suede with Licorice peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A couple of wears in, Fahrenheit Le Parfum has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Suede/Licorice impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I have owned Fahrenheit Le Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Bourbon Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Suede and Licorice — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first Dior experience was this one, Fahrenheit Le Parfum (2014). As it settles, Bourbon Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Violet Leaf and Rum feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I picked up Fahrenheit Le Parfum (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Suede and Licorice — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

    I’ve been wearing Fahrenheit Le Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (2014). Give it a little time and Violet Leaf with Rum comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Bourbon Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.
