   Picked up a sample of Fève Délicieuse after reading the community buzz (2015). That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Mint impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Sour Cherry and Freesia feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   For a 2015 release, Fève Délicieuse deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sour Cherry with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Lavender and Mint — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Fève Délicieuse. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Mint, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Tonka Bean and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Dior knows how to compose, and Fève Délicieuse (2015) is proof. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Mint — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
