   A decant of J’adore L’Or sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Ylang-Ylang and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I picked up J’adore L’Or (2017) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Ylang-Ylang and Tuberose feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Ylang-Ylang with Tuberose comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing J’adore L’Or on and off for a few weeks now (2017). That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ylang-Ylang with Tuberose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of J’adore L’Or sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Jasmine, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Jasmine, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about J’adore L’Or, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Tahitian Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
