   A couple of wears in, Mitzah has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cinnamon with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Dior knows how to compose, and Mitzah (2010) is proof. The base rests on Incense and French labdanum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Dior experience was this one, Mitzah (2010). The very first sniff is crisp Coriander with Cardamom peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Coriander and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Mitzah, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Coriander alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Cinnamon and Rose feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
