   I have owned Tendre Poison for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Asafoetida with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A couple of wears in, Tendre Poison has really grown on me. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Honey feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Tendre Poison (1994) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Asafoetida/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Tendre Poison, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Asafoetida with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Honey feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Everyone keeps talking about Tendre Poison, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Honey, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Asafoetida alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
