   A friend passed me a decant of Sicily (2003) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Nutmeg and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Sicily. The very first sniff is crisp Banana with Honeysuckle peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A couple of wears in, Sicily has really grown on me. The opening is built around Banana and Honeysuckle — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Sicily sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Banana with a hint of Honeysuckle — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Sicily after reading the community buzz (2003). That first spray gives a lovely Banana/Honeysuckle impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Banana and Honeysuckle — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
