   My first Dolce&Gabbana experience was this one, Devotion (2023). The opening is built around Candied lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Give it a little time and Panacotta with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

    I picked up Devotion (2023) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Panacotta with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
