   I picked up DKNY Be Delicious (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Cucumber and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Green Apple with Lily-of-the-Valley comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about DKNY Be Delicious. Right away I get mostly Cucumber alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Green Apple with Lily-of-the-Valley comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Green Apple with Lily-of-the-Valley, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
