   I’ve been wearing DKNY Red Delicious on and off for a few weeks now (2006). The heart is the best part for me: Apple and Rose feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Litchi peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing DKNY Red Delicious on and off for a few weeks now (2006). Give it a little time and Apple with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apple with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   My first Donna Karan experience was this one, DKNY Red Delicious (2006). Give it a little time and Apple with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned DKNY Red Delicious for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Leather and Amber come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Leather plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2006 release, DKNY Red Delicious deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Raspberry and Litchi — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
