   My first d’Orsay experience was this one, Tilleul (1915). The base rests on Hay and Black locust — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Hay and Black locust come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The heart is the best part for me: Lime (Linden) Blossom and Cyclamen feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   My first d’Orsay experience was this one, Tilleul (1915). That first spray gives a lovely Watermelon/Angelica impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Hay and Black locust come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I keep reaching for Tilleul more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Hay plus Black locust and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lime (Linden) Blossom with Cyclamen, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
