   DS&Durga knows how to compose, and Jazmin Yucatan (2020) is proof. The base rests on Snake Plant and Copal — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Jazmin Yucatan (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine Sambac with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Water Notes/Passion Flower impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   My first DS&Durga experience was this one, Jazmin Yucatan (2020). Give it a little time and Jasmine Sambac with Cloves comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Water Notes and Passion Flower — bright and immediately recognizable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Everyone keeps talking about Jazmin Yucatan, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine Sambac and Cloves feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Water Notes with Passion Flower peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The drydown leans on Snake Plant plus Copal and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
