   Everyone keeps talking about Original Wood, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Violet Leaf with a hint of Watery Notes — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Watery Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   Picked up a sample of Original Wood after reading the community buzz (2022). As it settles, Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Watery Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2022 release, Original Wood deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Watery Notes, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The very first sniff is crisp Violet Leaf with Watery Notes peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
