   A friend passed me a decant of Wood for Him (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on White Woods plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Ginger, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Wood for Him after reading the community buzz (2018). The first minutes are all about Calabrian bergamot with a hint of Sicilian Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Calabrian bergamot alongside Sicilian Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Wood for Him sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Calabrian bergamot/Sicilian Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Wood for Him on and off for a few weeks now (2018). As it settles, White Woods and Vetiver come through and give it real depth. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
