   I’ve been wearing Icon on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The base rests on Oakmoss and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Neroli absolute with Black Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Icon. That first spray gives a lovely Neroli absolute/Black Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Neroli absolute alongside Black Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Icon on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Neroli absolute with a hint of Black Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The heart is the best part for me: Cardamom and Juniper berry feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The first minutes are all about Neroli absolute with a hint of Black Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy.
