   I keep reaching for Egypt more than I expected to. The base rests on Sandalwood and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Moss — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A couple of wears in, Egypt has really grown on me. The opening is built around Lavender and Moss — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Sandalwood and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   My first Eight & Bob experience was this one, Egypt (2014). The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cardamom with Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Egypt on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Moss peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Cardamom and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Eight & Bob knows how to compose, and Egypt (2014) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Moss peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Lavender and Moss — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
