   Picked up a sample of Trajan after reading the community buzz (2020). The opening is built around Blood Orange and Mandarin Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Ambergris plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Trajan has really grown on me. The base rests on Ambergris and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Blood Orange and Mandarin Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

   A couple of wears in, Trajan has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Blood Orange with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Blood Orange alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.
