   For a 2004 release, Apparition deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Sweet Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Emanuel Ungaro experience was this one, Apparition (2004). That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Sweet Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Sweet Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing Apparition on and off for a few weeks now (2004). Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Sweet Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Passion Flower with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up Apparition (2004) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Sweet Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Sweet Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
