   My first Escada experience was this one, Absolutely Me (2010). The opening is built around Raspberry and Rose — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Rose — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Absolutely Me. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Rose, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Raspberry and Rose — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Absolutely Me has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Rose impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Rose, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Rose — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Absolutely Me (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Raspberry and Rose — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Vanille and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   For a 2010 release, Absolutely Me deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Rose impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Macarons and Rose feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
