   I picked up Cherry in Japan (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Cherry Blossom, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Cherry Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Cherry in Japan (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Picked up a sample of Cherry in Japan after reading the community buzz (2021). The base rests on Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Cherry in Japan has really grown on me. The base rests on Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Cherry Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A decant of Cherry in Japan sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Cherry Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
