   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Escada Moon Sparkle. The first minutes are all about Strawberry with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Sweet Pea and Freesia feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Escada Moon Sparkle after reading the community buzz (2007). That first spray gives a lovely Strawberry/Black Currant impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Sweet Pea and Freesia feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Escada knows how to compose, and Escada Moon Sparkle (2007) is proof. The first minutes are all about Strawberry with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Strawberry with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The very first sniff is crisp Strawberry with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A friend passed me a decant of Escada Moon Sparkle (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sweet Pea with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Raspberry and Musk come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
