   I picked up Ocean Lounge (2008) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Big Strawberry/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Violet with Mimosa comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Ocean Lounge more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Violet with Mimosa comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet with Mimosa, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Big Strawberry with Litchi peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The opening is built around Big Strawberry and Litchi — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The first minutes are all about Big Strawberry with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
