   A decant of Patchouli Mania sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Patchouli and Vetiver come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Picked up a sample of Patchouli Mania after reading the community buzz (2023). The first minutes are all about Hazelnut with a hint of Davana — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Hazelnut alongside Davana, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned Patchouli Mania for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Hazelnut with a hint of Davana — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Cacao and Tea feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I wanted to like it more than I did.

The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Essential Parfums experience was this one, Patchouli Mania (2023). Right away I get mostly Hazelnut alongside Davana, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cacao with Tea, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
