   I picked up Pleasures Exotic mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Litchi and Peony feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Litchi with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I’ve been wearing Pleasures Exotic on and off for a few weeks now. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Tropical Fruits with a hint of Mango — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Estée Lauder experience was this one, Pleasures Exotic. As it settles, Sandalwood and Musk come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Tropical Fruits and Mango — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.
