   A couple of wears in, Pure White Linen has really grown on me. The opening is built around Green Notes and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Pure White Linen has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Red Tulip with Honeysuckle comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2006 release, Pure White Linen deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Green Notes with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Pure White Linen sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Cedar and White Heliotrope come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Red Tulip with Honeysuckle, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The base rests on Cedar and White Heliotrope — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I’ve been wearing Pure White Linen on and off for a few weeks now (2006). That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Red Tulip and Honeysuckle feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
