   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Youth-Dew. That first spray gives a lovely Spices/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Spicy Notes with Cloves comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Youth-Dew has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Spices alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Spices/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Youth-Dew, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Spices and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Spices/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Youth-Dew on and off for a few weeks now (1953). Right away I get mostly Spices alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spicy Notes with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spicy Notes with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Spicy Notes with Cloves comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
