   My first Etienne Aigner experience was this one, Explosive (1986). The drydown leans on oak moss plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on oak moss and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   My first Etienne Aigner experience was this one, Explosive (1986). The base rests on oak moss and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Explosive for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on oak moss plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned Explosive for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Coriander alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, oak moss and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Explosive for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Coriander and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Coriander alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
