   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Explicite. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Nutmeg with a hint of Pink Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Explicite after reading the community buzz (2020). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Praline with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Praline and Peony feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Explicite has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Nutmeg with a hint of Pink Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I keep reaching for Explicite more than I expected to. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Praline with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A decant of Explicite sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Praline with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Nutmeg with Pink Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
