For a 2014 release, Fleur Narcotique deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Litchi/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Ex Nihilo knows how to compose, and Fleur Narcotique (2014) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Litchi with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Musk plus Moss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

A friend passed me a decant of Fleur Narcotique (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Litchi/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Picked up a sample of Fleur Narcotique after reading the community buzz (2014). Give it a little time and Peony with Orange Blossom comes forward โ€” smooth and well done. The opening is built around Litchi and Bergamot โ€” bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done โ€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Picked up a sample of Fleur Narcotique after reading the community buzz (2014). The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Musk and Moss โ€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

I’ve been wearing Fleur Narcotique on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The opening is built around Litchi and Bergamot โ€” bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

A decant of Fleur Narcotique sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Musk plus Moss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done โ€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

A decant of Fleur Narcotique sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Musk and Moss โ€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Peony with Orange Blossom comes forward โ€” smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

I picked up Fleur Narcotique (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Musk and Moss come through and give it real depth. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

As it settles, Musk and Moss come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

A couple of wears in, Fleur Narcotique has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Musk plus Moss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
