   My first Ex Nihilo experience was this one, Vetiver Moloko (2014). The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Bulgarian Rose — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Bulgarian Rose, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I picked up Vetiver Moloko (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Vetiver and Amyris come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Amyris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A friend passed me a decant of Vetiver Moloko (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Bulgarian Rose impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Vetiver and Amyris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. The composition is well made but not for me.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
