   For a 2014 release, Honey Oud deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Agarwood (Oud) and Rose feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Honey and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Floris knows how to compose, and Honey Oud (2014) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Agarwood (Oud) with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Honey/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Honey Oud for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Honey alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Agarwood (Oud) with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Everyone keeps talking about Honey Oud, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Honey alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The heart is the best part for me: Agarwood (Oud) and Rose feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
