   I picked up No 89 (1951) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Oakmoss and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Lavender and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Floris knows how to compose, and No 89 (1951) is proof. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Floris experience was this one, No 89 (1951). The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Geranium feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing No 89 on and off for a few weeks now (1951). Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Oakmoss and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   For a 1951 release, No 89 deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Lavender and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Rose with Geranium comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   For a 1951 release, No 89 deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Oakmoss and Musk come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Oakmoss and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
