   I’ve been wearing Diamant on and off for a few weeks now (2006). As it settles, Patchouli and Caramel come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Caramel and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Diamant. Give it a little time and Plum with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Pepper with a hint of Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Diamant sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Caramel and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Patchouli and Caramel — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Fragonard experience was this one, Diamant (2006). That first spray gives a lovely Pepper/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Plum and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The very first sniff is crisp Pepper with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   For a 2006 release, Diamant deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Pepper/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Pepper with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
