Franck Boclet knows how to compose, and Cocaïne (2017) is proof. As it settles, Monoi Oil and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Caramel with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Picked up a sample of Cocaïne after reading the community buzz (2017). Give it a little time and Tuberose with Lily comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Caramel with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I have owned Cocaïne for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

My first Franck Boclet experience was this one, Cocaïne (2017). The base rests on Monoi Oil and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I keep reaching for Cocaïne more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Caramel with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Franck Boclet knows how to compose, and Cocaïne (2017) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Caramel/Tobacco impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Monoi Oil and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I have owned Cocaïne for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Caramel with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Monoi Oil plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Everyone keeps talking about Cocaïne, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Monoi Oil plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Caramel alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Cocaïne. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Lily comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Monoi Oil and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
