   I picked up 1270 (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Dried Fruits with Spices comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on White Honey plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about 1270. The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Resin — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on White Honey and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of 1270 after reading the community buzz (2010). Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Resin, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Resin peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A decant of 1270 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Resin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Resin, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The opening is built around Pineapple and Resin — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. The composition is well made but not for me.

    I have owned 1270 for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Resin impression that dries down smoothly. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
