   My first Frapin experience was this one, Speakeasy (2012). As it settles, Tobacco and Leather come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Mint and Mojito feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Speakeasy for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Lime, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Tobacco and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Speakeasy sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Rum with a hint of Lime — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Lime, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Speakeasy (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Mint and Mojito feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Mint with Mojito comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
