For a 2002 release, Bigarade Concentree deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Bitter Orange and Mandarin — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Grass and Hay come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

I keep reaching for Bigarade Concentree more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Caraway feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I picked up Bigarade Concentree (2002) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Bitter Orange alongside Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Bitter Orange with a hint of Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

My first Frederic Malle experience was this one, Bigarade Concentree (2002). That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Rose with Caraway comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Frederic Malle knows how to compose, and Bigarade Concentree (2002) is proof. The drydown leans on Grass plus Hay and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Grass and Hay — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

A couple of wears in, Bigarade Concentree has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Bitter Orange with a hint of Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Rose with Caraway comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
