   A decant of Vulcan Sable sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Vanilla and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Whiskey with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Picked up a sample of Vulcan Sable after reading the community buzz (2025). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tonka with Cashmeran, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Whiskey/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   French Avenue knows how to compose, and Vulcan Sable (2025) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Whiskey/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Tonka and Cashmeran feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Vulcan Sable on and off for a few weeks now (2025). The base rests on Vanilla and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Whiskey with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2025 release, Vulcan Sable deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Whiskey alongside Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Tonka and Cashmeran feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The opening is built around Whiskey and Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The first minutes are all about Whiskey with a hint of Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
